Honda Culture - Slammed "VIP" Accord

I spotted Sunny's Accord early last year at the second South Mimms meet in 2010. I got some shots of it there and as the season progressed I managed to compile quite a libary of shots for this Accord.

Fastcar approached Sunny at Japfest last year and requested to do a feature on his car for their mag. The date was set in November'10 and as the date approached the details began to immerge. It was going to be a VIP themed shoot including a helicoper at Silverstone Race circuit. Honda Culture got in touch and asked if I would like to come along to film the shoot.

After the shoot it was a couple of months before Fastcar decided which issue the feature was going to be in so I went to visit Sunny and DN in Milton Keynes to interview him on camera about his car.

The mag went on sale early May so now we can release the video:

September 2010 - Players 4.0

Well this was the first time we had been to Players as it is predominantly a VW show but rumors were circulating that Honda Culture had been invited. Sure enough we went along and made our presence know in a small patch of the show and shine area. The show was fantastic and the quality of the metal on show was at the highest I'd seen all year. Some truly inspiring levels of customisation and modifying. New styles mixed with old style and brought right up to date with new and interesting mods left right and centre.

All in all, an excellent show. Hopefully we will be back next year to see some more.

June 2010 - Japshow

Japshow was the next event we attended in 2010. Japshow is hosted at Santa Pod international raceway and also  plays host to the HKS Drag Series.

There were a number of activities including a handling track that was free to enter, we filmed the evo that ended up 2nd fastest. 

There was also a RWYB (Run What Ya Brung). These are all cars owned by the public and you are allowed to run as many times as you like for around £20. Seen as the Reelmotion project car is a DC5 this boosted Integra caught our eye.

As well as the RWYB event there was a Jet car in attendance. Some stats about the car:

Jet Car: 10,000 bhp. 336mph. 20,000rpm. 5-second quarter-mile times. These figures sound like pure fantasy, but the Fireforce Jet Car makes them a shocking reality. Don't miss this car out on track, but don't worry, you'll know its coming when you hear the air being torn apart by the massive turbine engine.
